Exhaust Valve – Performance

Performance exhaust valve to suit Nissan ZD30 series engines.

Diesel Performance Parts valves are designed and manufactured for high performance diesel applications. The valve bodies are one-piece (head and stem) forgings made of JIS SUH35 (21-4N) Non-magnetic, stainless steel.  The stem ends are tipped with induction hardened 4Cr9Si2, friction welded, steel wafers. The exhaust valve faces are Stellite welded, and all valve bodies are fully Nitride hardened. The valve heads are fully machined, and the underside radii are swirl polished right to the valve face to promote better air flow and combustion chamber swirl. They have a 30° back-cut up to the 45° valve faces. The valve body and valve face metals have been selected and prepared to withstand high temperature conditions, high stress applications and highly corrosive combustion chamber atmospheres – the standard environment for a high-performance diesel engine.
