Bolts, ARP2000, Toyota 2H, 11Z and 12H-T Cylinder Head Stud Set

These ARP2000 head studs have been specially designed and manufactured for Toyota 2H, 2H (Parent Bore), 11Z & 12HT engines.

There are nineteen (19) x M12 studs at 139 mm long and seven (7) at 136 mm long, and 26 washers and nuts to suit.  

These studs will help gain the increased head clamping required in performance applications.

They will achieve a more evenly distributed and accurate torque load compared to that of head bolts by eliminating the twisting force created during tightening. 

This ultimately translates into higher reliability and a lower chance of head gasket failure. Set includes ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant.

Note – These studs can also be used in Toyota 1Z and 2Z engines, however only eighteen (13/5) are required.

Final torque of 169 N.m (125 ft.lb) will deliver 75% of the fasteners yield strength as a clamping force of 8,830 kg (19,425 lbs). This is an increase of 29% clamping load over OE head bolts.

For most applications, 169 N.m will be sufficient. However, should you find you are experiencing gasket leakage, and all surfaces are flat and in good condition, you can use final torque of 191 N.m (141 ft.lb). This will deliver around 85% of the yield as a clamping load of 9,985 kg (22,015 lbs).  This is an increase of 46% clamping load over OE head bolts.
