ARP8740 1/2" Performance cylinder head stud set to suit Toyota 1HD-FT and 1HD-FTE series. There are twenty studs at 146mm length, 6 studs at 156mm length with washers and nuts to suit. These studs are 1/2" UNC. The head bolt holes in the block and head need to be modified to take these studs. These studs will help gain the increased head clamping required in performance applications. They will achieve a more evenly distributed and accurate torque load compared to that of head bolts by eliminating the twisting force created during tightening.  This ultimately translates into higher reliability and a lower chance of head gasket failure. Set includes ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant.

Final torque of 170 N.m (125 Ft.lbs) will deliver 75% of the fasteners yield strength as clamping load (8416 kg/18515 lbs).  This is an increase of 68% clamping load over OE head bolts
