DPP Toyota 1VD-FTV Head Stud Kit

Diesel Performance Parts (DPP) cylinder head stud kit to suit Toyota 1VD-FTV. 1 set required per engine.  There are twenty (20) studs at 183mm and twenty (20) nuts and washers to suit.  Studs are made from 13-8 Mo Stainless Steel and are ½ inch x 20 TPI on the nut end and M13x1.5 on the block end.  These are not ARP studs. They are made in the UK, and are equivalent to ARP2000 performance wise.  The nuts and washers are ARP, made in USA.  No modification to the head bolt holes in the block or head is required.  This will help gain the increased head clamping required in performance applications. They will achieve a more evenly distributed and accurate torque load compared to that of head bolts by eliminating the twisting force created during tightening. This ultimately translates into higher reliability and a lower chance of head gasket failure.

Final torque of 190 N.m (140 Ft.lbs) will deliver 75% of the fasteners yield strength as clamping load (14968 kg/33000lbs). This is an increase of 23% clamping load over OE head bolts.
