Camshaft 8/1995 >

Forged camshaft to suit the Nissan TD42/T/Ti family of engines.

They are a direct replacement for Nissan camshaft 1300151N00 which was released 8/1995 in the ‘black top’ engines (original colour of the rocker cover). They do not suit the early naturally aspirated TD42 ‘silver top’ engines with pistons with the valve reliefs in the crown.  These camshafts are forged from EN9/S53C steel and have the cam lobes and journals induction hardened to 55 – 60 HRC. All dimensions and tolerances are comparable with the O.E. camshaft. The cam lobes are tapered to facilitate cam follower rotation which reduces cam lobe and follower face wear. Each camshaft is lot and serial number identified.

WARNING:
New or re-ground camshafts should always be installed with new or re-faced cam followers. We offer cam follower CFNI124.
