Bolts, ARP2000, Toyota 1KD and 2KD Cylinder Head Stud Set

ARP2000 Performance cylinder head stud set to suit Toyota 1KD and 2KD engines.  There are eight long studs and ten short studs with washers and nuts to suit. No modification to head bolt holes in the block or head is required.  These studs will help gain the increased head clamping required in performance applications. They will achieve a more evenly distributed and accurate torque load compared to that of head bolts by eliminating the twisting force created during tightening.  This ultimately translates into higher reliability and a lower chance of head gasket failure. Set includes ARP Ultra-Torque lubricant.

Final torque of 170 N.m (125 Ft.lbs) will deliver 75% of the fasteners yield strength as clamping load (8,636 kg/19,000 lbs).  This is an increase of 8.4% clamping load over OE head bolts.

Final torque of 190 N.m (140 Ft.lbs) will deliver 85% of the fasteners yield strength as clamping load (9,772 kg/21,500 lbs).  This is an increase of 19% clamping load over OE head bolts.
