Gasket Head Shim Left 0.40 mm
Left bank, 0.40 mm thick, DPP Head Gasket Shim to suit Toyota 1VD-FTV engines. These shims are laser-cut from mild steel and match the appropriate cylinder head gasket geometry. They can be used on diesel engines where the cylinder block has been machined to correct surface distortion or surface finish and the piston protrusion height is excessive. Or with pistons that have anodised or ceramic crowns and it is not possible to machine the crowns to correct the protrusion, using this DPP Shim will compensate for the excessive protrusion.
