These pistons have alfin inserts in the top ring groove, oil gallery cooling, the body has been phosphated, pin bores are scalloped, crowns are anodised and coated with Cerakote piston coat (V-136), skirts are coated with Cerakote Micro Slick (P-109). Top ring 2.0 mm 1/2 keystone, 2nd ring 1.5 mm, Oil ring 3.0 mm. Pistons include pins and circlips. Gudgeon pin diameter: 34.0 mm.

Sold as an engine set.

We recommend adding our Performance Ring Sets with Gapless Second Ring Technology (RSPIS330 STD) and High Performance H-Beam Conrod Set (CRIS330A)

Note: “N” series truck pistons can be replaced with a set of these pistons and ring set RSIS330A STD or RSPIS330 STD.

Cerakote® V-Series High Temperature Ceramic Coatings are designed to protect metal substrates in high temperature applications. Cerakote V-Series High Temperature products are practical, performance-based coatings intended for exhaust systems and engine components. Additionally, Cerakote V-Series coatings are durable, resistant to thermal shock and designed to withstand extreme use temperatures of up to 1800°F - 980°C.  This helps to maintain even heat distribution across the crown, which reduces softening and premature failure from extreme temperature hot spots.  Reduced heat loss to the piston equates to better fuel burn rates, and increased power and fuel economy.

Cerakote® P-109 Microslick Dry Film Lubricant provides a low friction surface for metal-on-metal contact. This P-109 Microslick coating is formulated to withstand extreme temperatures (1,200°F - 648°C). This makes the coating ideal for pistons and other wear components in high temperature systems, and P-Series coatings maintain excellent adhesion even after repeated thermal cycling. These coatings provide superior protection again high wear, galling and corrosion. It will help prevent piston scuffing in the bores in most marginal lubrication conditions.
