Valve Exhaust – Performance
Performance exhaust valve to suit Nissan TD42 series.
Designed and manufactured for high performance diesel applications. These exhaust valve bodies are one-piece forgings made of non-magnetic 21-4N stainless steel and the stem ends are tipped with induction hardened 4Cr9Si2 friction welded, steel wafers. Exhaust valve faces are Stellite welded, and all valve bodies are fully Nitride hardened. The valve heads are fully machined, and the underside radii are swirl polished right to the valve face to promote better air flow and combustion chamber swirl. All valves have a 30° back-cut up to valve faces. The valve body and valve face metals have been selected and prepared to withstand high temperature conditions, high stress applications and highly corrosive combustion chamber atmospheres – the standard environment for a high-performance diesel engine.
